Biography

Majid has harbored a deep love for flamenco music since his teenage years. This passion led him to craft his own guitar, igniting his journey into the world of music. He began mastering the Spanish guitar by diligently studying flamenco guitar books and immersing himself in instructional videos. Complementing his self-teaching, Majid pursued formal education in music theory and essential skills at the Tehran Conservatory of Music.

In 2017, he ventured to Spain to undertake advanced classes, eager to refine his flamenco guitar technique. There, he had the privilege of learning from the illustrious guitarist Niño de Pura. This experience marked the inception of his dual career as both a guitarist and a teacher.

Throughout his musical journey, Majid has captivated audiences across various venues. Some highlight of his performances were a solo show at the University of Salzburg in Austria in 2017 and, Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul in 2024.

In 2019, he was honored with the Paco de Lucía Special Award at the International Istanbul Guitar Festival, with a distinguished jury that included Victor Monge Serranito, Pedro Sierra, and Alper Kargin.
