Biography

Majid loved flamenco music since he was a teenager. This passion inspired him to start playing the guitar he made himself! He started to play the Spanish guitar by reading flamenco guitar books and watching videos. Majid completed music theory and essential skills courses at the Tehran Conservatory of Music.

In 2017, he went to Spain for advanced classes to improve his flamenco guitar skills. He learned from the famous guitarist “Niño de Pura”. This experience marked the beginning of his career as both a guitarist and teacher.

During his musical journey, Majid performed at different places. One notable performance was a solo show at the University of Salzburg in Austria in 2017.

 In 2019, he received the Paco de Lucía Special Award at the International Istanbul Guitar Festival. The jury members were Victor Monge Serranito, Pedro Sierra, and Alper Kargin.
